A surgeon who treats before he operates.

A surgical evaluation doesn’t mean a surgical recommendation. Many foot and ankle problems heal with the right regenerative protocol — my job is to know which.

About Dr. Orlando Cedeno

Dr. Cedeno’s practice sits where conservative care and surgery meet, with a particular focus on the diabetic foot and the complications that follow it in the lower limb. Deciding when a problem needs an operation and when it does not is most of the work, and it is the part his training prepared him for.

He read chemistry at the University of Pittsburgh before taking his podiatric medical and surgical degree at Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine & Surgery in Miami. He then completed a three-year surgical residency in reconstructive and trauma surgery of the foot and ankle at Chestnut Hill Hospital / University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, training in foot, ankle and leg surgery under both podiatric and orthopedic surgeons.

Dr. Cedeno is Board Certified in foot surgery by the American Board of Foot & Ankle Surgery, a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, and a diplomate of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. He is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and of the Florida and Virginia Podiatric Medical Associations, and an Associate of the American Podiatric Sports Medicine Association.
