What Is Ocrevus?

Ocrevus is an FDA-approved infusion therapy for adults diagnosed with:
  • Relapsing forms of Multiple Sclerosis (RMS)
  • Primary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis (PPMS)

How Ocrevus Infusion Therapy Works

Your Ocrevus treatment is delivered by IV infusion at our Palm Beach center under expert supervision.

Initial Dose

Who Is a Candidate for Ocrevus?

Ocrevus may be right for you if:
  • You have relapsing or progressive MS
  • You experience frequent flare-ups or new MRI lesions
  • Other MS medications have not been effective
  • Your neurologist recommends Ocrevus as a disease-modifying therapy
Before beginning, our clinical team collaborates with your neurologist to confirm eligibility and review your medical history.

What to Expect During Treatment

  • Pre-Infusion Check: We review your vitals and provide premedications (antihistamine, steroid, acetaminophen).
  • Infusion Session: Ocrevus is infused slowly via IV while you relax in a recliner with Wi-Fi, refreshments, and TV access.
  • Observation: After the infusion, you’ll stay for a short period to ensure there are no adverse reactions.
  • Post-Treatment: Most patients resume regular activities later the same day.

Possible Side Effects

Most patients tolerate Ocrevus well, but possible side effects include: Mild infusion reactions (itching, rash, fatigue), Temporary flu-like symptoms, Rare allergic reactions
